
Battle of the Ages is a supportive community for all. Join our WhatsApp community group where our fitness trainers and nutritionist will share tips on all things training and food relevant to your age group as we lead up to the Battle of the Ages Games this summer.
Join our WhatsApp community group that is split into age category's. Each group will be led by Barn Coaches that are relevant to your age group. You can ask questions and we'll share form standards, workouts, strategies and tips to assist your training and nutrition.
It's an inclusive and supportive space for us to keep each other motivated and accountable throughout the year as we look to find the ultimate age group.
To join your WhatsApp group members can scan the QR code at reception.
The games will take place in the gym this summer.
How far or how many reps can you do in 3 minutes for each of the following exercises:
Treadmill Run
Ball Slams (M10kg & F5kg)
Studio Bike
Clean & Press (M40kg & F25kg)
SkiErg
Sled Push/Pull (M40kg & F25kg)
Row
Core Bag Lunge (M17.5kg & F12.5kg)
Farmers Carry (M20kg & F16kg)
Wall Ball (M6kg & F4kg)
You can earn a maximum of 10 points per each exercise (100 in total). We will then get an average score per age group.
There will be overall individual prizes for top male and female. The prize for winning the ultimate age group is KUDOS!
Angela Gipson is a friendly and open Nutritional Therapist and is here on our WhatsApp community to help Barn members make better food choices.
Angela also runs workshops on a number of food and nutritional related topics. These workshops are free to Barn members.
Angela is a fully qualified Nutritional Therapist with a diploma in Nutritional Therapy from the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM) & BANT Registered and can also offer 1:1 nutritional support and personalised food plans.
